From Personal Need to Community Service
Kabul Rentals was born from a simple, personal experience. As Afghans living abroad, we traveled back home frequently to reconnect with family and culture. We tried using global platforms like Airbnb, but quickly realized they weren't built for the realities of Afghanistan.
Complicated digital payments, communication barriers, and a lack of on-the-ground trust made the process difficult. We saw a gap: millions of Afghans from the diaspora were visiting home, needing a place to stay, but lacked a simple, reliable solution.
We decided to build that solution ourselves. We started with our own two properties in Kabul, focusing on what truly matters: a direct line of communication, payment in cash upon arrival, and the peace of mind that comes from dealing with someone who understands your culture and needs.
